Melting Snowman | Christmas EFL Word Guessing Game

Add a fun festive twist to word guessing with Melting Snowman, a simple, fast-paced classroom game where students must solve a Christmas-themed English word before the snowman fully melts.

The resource includes six illustrated melting snowman stages. Students work in groups: one chooses a word, draws blank spaces for the letters and the others guess one letter at a time. Every incorrect guess reveals the next melting snowman card. If the snowman disappears completely before the word is solved, the chooser wins. Then groups swap roles and play again.

This is an easy, energetic activity that builds spelling, vocabulary and strategic thinking during Christmas lessons.
